persistence as key factor for seller

What is the important task for salesman?

I spent six years in marketing and sales field but let me talk about key task in this job, one day I thought myself, if someone asks  me about the vital role for marketing and sale, what should I reply to him?

Obviously, I had a job as a door to door salesman and some day I visited more than 20 store or potential costumer for promoting my product, after that a few month I was telemarketer and I got the cold call every day to many people for introducing my company and my product.

I know what you think, it’s not good job or maybe you hate it but this job is really necessary for every business, if a company can’t sale their product all of the employees lose their job quickly during those years persistence really helps me to improve my skill in my job. Based on my experiences no one can sale the product without persistent and effort, although I have to consider this matter that persistent does not repeat your conservation and advertise frequently and nonstop, I am talking about learning from your experience. Salesman should learn from calling, appointment and get the best decision even in complex and uncertain situation.

Learning from your job every day and every time is much different from repeating your task every day, for instance government employees just repeat their same task without any creativity.

On the whole persistence and learning are the keys factor for any job especially for seller.

You’ve used your strategy for decades now. It is ingrained in your mind. Of the fifty thousand words you know, the majority of the words you use in daily conversation actually reflect your strategy. You favor certain hannels of information and vary the use of words according to these channels. In addition, the language you use is intimately connected with who you are.
Before I even consider sending an e-mail or letter, I first study the language used by the executive I am trying to reach. I’ll search the Web for video and magazine interviews, company videos he has appeared in, articles he wrote, entries on his blog, letters he may have written to customers or employees. I’ll analyze any language sample that will help me understand how he is wired…..Heavy Hitter Sales psychology (book)
Everyone lives in his or her own world. The world you experience is not the real world but rather your perception of the world. The way in which you perceive your world is intricately connected tothe language you use and how you sense your surroundings. You use your senses to define everyday experiences for storage in your brain. Your word catalogs are the storage-and-retrieval mechanisms used to access these experiences. They are also responsible for the words you select to communicate your world to others
Developing rapport by connecting with customers is a top priority in every conversation with C- level executives. In this regard, your most important competitive weapon is your mouth and the words you speak. Knowing which word catalogs executives use and speaking to them in their language will help them fall in love with you and your solution

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

i read this book really quickly! because i am a little accustomed with this topic. actually i follow Zenhabits.net and i knew Leo Babauta from one years ago he is really good blogger that write many good idea about Life Style.
in this book he write about our problem in age of distraction and you can say age of information whatever you like but focusing in this time is really impossible and hard to get, we face to many notification from social network, mobile, SMS and etc.. so Leo have great idea against distraction such as unplug the internet and have plan for using the net or something else in my case those offer really works an i am using some of them in my life i really recommend this book specially for someone who spend a lot of time to work by computer.
i gave three star for two reason firstly as i said before he is really great blogger but for become a great author he should spend many years and write many book, secondly he doesn’t rely on some research and science in his book he just talk about his experience actually he doesn’t prove his idea about focusing by research or any science document.
